Kids Care Programs and Cost
Kids Care offers the perfect solution for parents needing child care when the preschool and grade school are closed (summer, after-school, holiday breaks). Kids Care is available to Warrenton Grade School students (K-4th*), and to Warrenton Prep preschoolers in our Butterfly program. Our Summer program is open to PreK- 4th* grade students county wide!
Summer Program 2024
Friday, June 17th - Thursday, August 29th
$42 per day
Our summer program is open to children PreK - 4th* grade from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
We try to make our summer time as fun as possible and offer walking field trips, theme weeks, and oodles of outdoor fun!
Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks are included. There is no reduction in cost when the child is absent.
Afterschool Program (2024-25 School Year)
$18 per day
Our afterschool program provides childcare for Warrenton Prep Preschool students (Butterfly class) and Warrenton Grade School students (K-4th*) when the regular school day is over until 5:30 p.m. Time is provided for play, snacks, and homework when needed.
There is no reduction in cost when the child is absent.
Off-Day Program (2024-25 School Year)
$42 per day (drop-in rate of $45, prior approval required)
The off-day program provides childcare to WPrep Preschool students (Butterfly class) and Warrenton Grade School students (K-4th*) from 7:20 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. when regular school is not in session due to holidays or district in-service days. Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks are included. There is no reduction in cost when the child is absent.
Program Days: Oct. 10-11, Nov. 11, 25-27, Dec. 23, 26-27, 30-31, Jan. 2-3, 20, 27, Feb. 17, March 20-28
All Programs Closed: July 4, Aug. 30, Sept. 2, Nov. 28-29, Dec. 24-25, Jan. 1, May 26, June 12-13
* Fourth graders are those students who are entering third grade in the Fall of 2024.
